Extreme supply chain flexibility
Clients don’t need to know
precisely when they’ll need given quantities delivered in order to work
with Monode. All they need to know is how they’d like their product
shipped, and how many units are needed over the next 6, 12 or 18 months.
The process is simple: - Work with our technical team to
develop your electronics modules or products, or send us your product’s
existing technical information ready for production.
- Discuss
your preferred delivery options with our commercial and procurement
team. E.g: single drop, scheduled deliveries, just-in-time call-off
from bulk orders.
- For just-in-time call-offs you place a
long-term, fixed-price order of X units, required within a given time
window, priced according to your total order volume.
- We’ll
discuss approximate guideline ‘take rate’ timing so that our operation
can ensure that you always have plenty of product in stock, when you
need it – we always build in contingencies.
- We procure all components needed for your product, within your fixed price.
- Once
the initial product set-up lead time has been completed, we will build
ahead of your projected requirements up to the total level of your bulk
order, enabling you to call-off product on 24-hours notice. Whenever
you have a requirement within your long-term time window, just send us
your request: we’ll have your stock ready to ship to the required
destination.
- We can accommodate most requirements if you need
product to be assembled in casework or into final packaging ready for
shipment to your own customer.
- If your take rate needs to change, just let us know.
Eliminating unplanned expenditure You only have to commit to the total quantity you require within
a long period rather than worrying about detail. We’ll make sure you
always have enough on the shelf when you need it. For just-in-time
call-off arrangements we invoice on shipment so there is no unplanned
expenditure, regardless of how your delivery schedule flexes.
If you choose a fixed delivery date option for an order, and then
find that you are unable to arrange shipment to your own customer or
find storage space in your own facility for the product at the agreed
delivery date, we are able to store the completed product for you until
you are ready to take delivery. In this case we will invoice on the
originally agreed delivery date, then store the product for you at no
additional cost to you. Totally flexible logistics Other than placing a firm order of a total number of units
required over a time window, Monode provides a totally flexible
logistics solution.
Having Monode as a supply chain partner enables you to secure
your batch prices, while taking advantage of economies of scale, rather
than ordering units priced according to the batch size you take at a
certain point in time.
